About Us

Founded in 2016, So Future began as a monthly club night in a sweaty east London basement club (R.I.P The Alibi). Since then, So Future has evolved into a creative platform dedicated to showcasing the next wave in global underground and alternative Black music sounds. Over the last 8 years, we’ve developed a reputation for quality music curation, creative visual content and actively supporting new music talent; distinctly prioritising forward-thinking sounds over genre confines.

We’re a creative collective with a multiplatform offering focused on creating opportunities for emerging artist, producer and DJ talent from around the world. We are a home for music fans with a discerning ear, curating and tastemaking with you in mind, whether we’re mixing radio shows, programming club nights or designing apparel.

Through events, our DJ guest mix series, radio shows, streaming playlists and social media content, So Future is a blossoming community of both music creatives and music consumers from all over the world.
